The Bioque SCIENTIFIC DifferencE

Co-founded in 1996 by Drs. Martin Rodbell, Nobel prize-winning microbiologist, and Vittorio Bonomo, Bioque® is unlike any other skincare system in the world, for two fundamental reasons.  The first is the discovery of unique active ingredient “signal” complexes that impact cellular processes within our own skin, such as increasing collagen and elastin fiber production by our skin cells or by accelerating the natural cellular repair mechanisms so as to repair damaged skin. and thereby dramatically reducing the visibility of wrinkles.  

The second is the discovery and application of a revolutionary delivery system which enables “vectors” of active ingredient complexes created by a proprietary production process to easily penetrate the outer layers of our skin to enable targeted application within the inner layers of the skin.  Bioque, alone among all skincare brands, possesses this unique capability, making Bioque the most technologically advanced anti wrinkle skincare system in the world. 

The bottom line result to the typical skincare product user is: more effective, immediate, and longer-lasting anti wrinkle results from the use of a Bioque skincare product as compared to products of other skincare brands with seemingly-similar lists of ingredients.  However, an ingredient that can barely penetrate to the inner layers of the skin cannot produce meaningful wrinkle correction similar results.  To illustrate, Bioque’s Serum XL, our Botox® alternative, contains three different peptide compositions which in total constitute 30 percent by weight of the Serum.  Most competing brands of Botox® alternatives, even the most well-known high-priced skincare brands, rarely have peptide compositions that represent as much as 10 percent by weight of the product.  Without any consideration of ability to penetrate to the inner skin cells, Bioque Serum XL would appear to provide at least three times as much peptide wrinkle-reducing power as the other brands. 

The real magnitude of the difference does not end with the greater concentration of peptides.  The combined effect of percent composition and effective delivery to targeted areas beneath the outer layer of the skin produces a much more dramatic difference in the visibility of wrinkles.  Our extensive studies, using live human skin, have shown that, without the use of our “vector” technology, less than 20 percent of the peptides reach the inner layers of the skin, with the remaining 80 percent of those expensive peptides collecting on the outside of the skin, only to be wiped away later by cleansing.  In stark contrast, Bioque’s “vector” technology enables up to 70 percent of such peptide actives to reach the targeted inner layers of the skin.  That means that other skin care brands can only deliver 2 percent or less (20 percent of 10 percent) of the peptides to targeted areas, whereas Bioque’s “vectors” can deliver up to 21 percent (70 percent of 30 percent). 

In summary comparison, Bioque achieves higher levels of targeted results because the Bioque serum not only contains significantly more of the active peptides (30 percent as compared to 10 percent), but the delivery rate is up to 3 ½ times higher (as much as 70 percent as compared to as much as 20 percent).  The combined effect of these factors is enormous by comparison:  Bioque Serum XL delivers about 10 times as much peptide actives to the inner layers of the skin than do other skincare brands of Botox® alternatives.  10 times better is 900 percent more peptide action to improve skin texture, elasticity, and structure, which all translate to less visible wrinkles. That is the Bioque difference…A difference you will see and appreciate.

 Unlike most skin care brands, the scientific approach is at the core of Bioque’s skin care philosophy with a goal to develop cosmetic products that are more than cosmetic.  They are, in fact, designed to employ your own skin natural repair and rejuvenating processes to improve and maintain healthy wrinkle-free skin.  While most skincare brands employ a “cover-up” approach, like making wrinkles less visible by covering them with cosmetic compositions, Bioque employs product active ingredients and a delivery system to your own skin cells that are designed to activate, stimulate, and maintain beneficial cellular processes within the layers beneath the outer layer of your skin. 

What this means is that our philosophy is not simply to cover up skin problems which naturally occur as you age, but rather to counteract that aging process by delivering active ingredient vectors to the layers of your skin where the constant battle against aging and sun damage is being waged.  We use the safest, purest, and cruelty-free ingredients that our research has indicated will best supplement your own skin’s cellular defense processes.   

For example, as you age, the amount of Vitamin C that is available to your skin cells, a necessary ingredient for continued active production of collagen, diminishes and needs to be replenished.  It cannot be effectively accomplished by oral doses of Vitamin C, as very little of the oral doses can reach the skin cells.  A topical application, as available in all other Vitamin C creams, generally will find difficulty in penetrating the outer skin barrier.  Deficiencies in the Vitamin C content of your skin will accelerate the skin aging processes and result in more wrinkles and fine lines in your face.

Our exclusive vector delivery system, developed by Nobel Laureate Martin Rodbell, was specifically designed to carry needed and proven active ingredients, such as Vitamin C, in a fully bio-available form, into the deeper layers of the skin.  The end result will be that your skin will be assisted in maintaining its structure, plumpness, and elasticity to the highest degree possible as you age.  We cannot stop the aging process, but we surely, with proper technology and the right ingredients, can help stop or delay many, if not most, of the effects of aging on our skin, especially the visibility of wrinkles.

Regardless of the price paid by consumers, without an effective dermal multi-layer delivery system, no skincare product can have any more than a purely cosmetic result (a covering up of the skin problem).  When most of a potentially-effective ingredient is “wasted” due to inability to penetrate the outer skin barrier, there is little incentive to use more than a small amount of a potentially-effective ingredient.  That is not the situation with Bioque, because our exclusive delivery technology insures anti wrinkle results when proper amounts of the active ingredients are used. 

To illustrate using Bioque’s Vitamin K1 Serum: our studies show that a level of 8 percent of Vitamin K1 achieves the desired result without waste.  Yet, most competing brands of Vitamin K1 serums and creams typically contain 1 percent or less of this expensive but useful ingredient.  With 8 percent concentration and our exclusive vector delivery system, it is inconceivable that the other skincare brands of Vitamin K1 serum or cream can match or even come close to the results achieved by the Bioque Vitamin K1 Serum.  This explains why Bioque Vitamin K1 Serum has become the leading Vitamin K1 product in the world, by a wide margin.  Our company slogan: “Scientific Skincare that Works!” aptly describes our philosophical emphasis on results and, especially, the best results possible.
